Mother Dearest.

One of the earliest memories I have are of Mom and I, lying on the floor with our legs propped up against the wall, and me telling her the most ridiculous things that my 1-year-old brain had cooked up, going out and picking up almonds that had dropped down from the tree, and breaking them open later.

Sounds boring, doesn’t it?

But my Mom tells me that I was all the entertainment she needed back then. I don’t think I appreciate her enough, to be honest. Not that we always see eye-to-eye, but who does? We bicker, we yell and we disagree a lot, but the truth is that she’ll always want the best for me, whether I see it immediately or not.

There are so many times when I feel like there is nothing to do at home when Mom isn’t around. I guess it’s safe to say that she has always been and will always be my whole world and there is nobody else’s opinion that I care about more than hers. The love I have for her can’t ever compare to all the time and energy she has spent on me, but it’s a start.

Also, an important tip for you all: listen to your mother. You know nothing. She’s always right!

To my Mom, mother-figures and all moms out there, you’re loved even if your brat of a child doesn’t always say it out loud. Happy Mother’s Day!

Cheerio!

Hey everyone! Let me know in the comments about your Mom! And share this post with her if you think she’ll like it! Spread the love far and wide.
Yours truly,

The Shubhster.
