#NaPoWriMo Day 15: Say Yes.

All over the walls of my room
Are pages stuck, like thoughts in my head,
Filled with all the songs I wrote for you,
Sprawled on the floor right beside my bed.
One of these days, you’ll see,
We’ll be singing like we’re meant to be,
Watching seasons dance in front of us,
Darling, you’re the only one I’ll ever need.

So I close my eyes,
Dream of you,
Wondering how it’d be,
If you were mine,
I’d say ‘I do’,
It could be just you and me.

Is this all just in my head?
Or is this just a dream?
Honey, you’re the realest thing
That I’ve ever felt, that I’ve ever seen!

Just take my hands in yours,
And under falling leaves, we can dance,
Walk in the moonlight with me,
We can make this last while we can.
We’ll watch the stars as they shine,
Hand-in-hand, just the two of us;
Kiss me and tell me you’re mine,
And say you love me, just because.

So I close my eyes,

Wondering how it’d be,
If you just said ‘yes’,
I’d say ‘I do’;
Would you run away with me?

Oh, I wish this wasn’t just in my head,
