Shift in the Pace.

I don’t really have a lot to say, today, so here’s a quick update on how things are going for me, at the moment:

I don’t know what came over me today, but I decided, as soon as I woke up today, that I was going to go get some of my artworks printed out so that I could start selling them. I knew it was a long shot, so I only got a handful of prints, but to my surprise, I’ve already sold two prints and I have an order for the print I sold out, so I guess the day is turning out just great for me. I guess that this leap of faith was exactly what I needed to take to put my work out there.

My friends and I have been binge-watching holiday flicks, horror shows, animated flicks, and anything else we can, and we make it a streaming party so that all the fun we have remains virtual at the moment, so we can all be safe and healthy.

I have two road trips coming up and I guess I’ll have a lot more to shoot and write about, after a very, very long time. I don’t want to say that things have started looking up for me because, honestly, this is far from it. But I guess this is how we take things, one day at a time. We take risks and end up doing things spontaneously because it just feels right in that moment, and sometimes, those very things turn out to be what we need.

This is definitely a shift in the pace and I am still staggering and stumbling around a little bit, but I don’t feel exhausted like I had been feeling for the last few days and I think that counts for something.

Or maybe it’s just the weekend working its magic. I hope you’re all having an amazing weekend, too, and you’re taking care of yourselves.

Cheerio! Xx
