#NaPoWriMo Day 13: Unsaid.

Beauty is all around me,
And it is frustrating.

That girl who’s laughing,
Does she know?
Has anybody told her?
It’s so infectious. Gorgeous.
Whoever said time doesn’t slow down
Never saw her laugh.
I couldn’t tell her, either.

That boy I can’t talk to,
Does he know?
His charm is magnetic,
He’s so precious, I wish he knew.
Instead, he keeps to himself
But spreads joy all around.
I couldn’t tell him how appreciated he is.

All those strangers I’ve crossed paths with,
They don’t know.
I notice how beautiful they are,
Inside and out.
And it’s not weird,
Because beauty should be admired.
Maybe someday, I’ll finally tell them.

Did I tell you that it’s frustrating?
You’re so beautiful,
I’d rather leave things unsaid
Than scare you away.
