Mirror, Mirror on the wall,
What secrets do you hide?
I look into you, a different world;
I wonder what you’re like inside.
Are things any different at all?
How do they work on the other side?
Does your reality work backwards?
Do our laws of physics apply to you?
Do you house unseen, unknown worlds?
Do Mirror-folk want to know about us, too?
So many questions and not nearly enough words…
All the things I’ve wanted an answer to.
I swear I’ve seen the walls thinning
Between your world and mine.
I’ve heard voices ringing,
Separating our two worlds, a fine line.
A possibility so beautifully chilling
Where the real and unreal entwine.
Perhaps I’ll fall into you someday,
I’ll know what your reality can be.
I’ll keep looking and I’ll soon find a way
To somewhere no one can find me.
Mirror, Mirror on the wall, for now here I’ll stay,
But we’re destined to meet soon, you’ll see.
