In case you haven’t already today, I suggest that you go out and take a look at the moon because it looks absolutely dreamy today. It’s the last supermoon this year and with everything that has been going on lately, I think that we could all use watching something that is as constant as the moon. And today’s full moon is all about holding on to our roots. In the simplest sense, today is all about introspecting and showing yourself a little bit of love. And in case you’re feeling confused as to why I’m bringing up astrology on this blog post, let me assure you that I am not.
But it did give me a lot to think about. Over the last few days, I have been asked what I plan to do with my life and as usual, I don’t have it all mapped out. I never have. I have always believed in letting myself find my own path to walk on. It’s not easy because, on the outside, it looks like I have no ambitions or the need to chase after them, but on the inside, I am constantly asking myself what to do next. I don’t think I owe anybody an explanation for that.
The world is changing and it is changing fast. And the way I see it, there is no need for any of us to rush because we do not grow at the same pace. We do not all stumble across the same kind of opportunities. And that is okay. As long as we know what we want to do with our lives, we’ll always figure out one way or another. Don’t you ever let anybody else tell you otherwise, because it is okay to not have an early start. Just ask yourself if you’re ready to do that for your dreams.
And the best part is that sometimes, you don’t even know how you can come to embrace something and make it a part of your dream, along the way. It could be a friend, a significant other, a pet, a job, or even something as simple as a quote. And believe me, all the answers you’re looking for are within you. They always are. We’re just not clear-headed enough to see what’s right in front of us, most of the time!
So promise yourselves today that you will sit down and have a talk with yourselves about what it is that you truly want to work for. Look within and find the answer with a clear head. Who knows? You might just end up surprising yourselves today!
Oh, did I mention that you need to go look at the moon right away? Because you really do!
