The Forgotten Diary.

Peals of laughter ringing loud,
In a hundred tangents we talk,
Colours flying all around
And my diary lies forgotten about.
Words won’t escape me anymore,
And my pen remains uncapped;
So many stories to be told,
And I know not where to begin.
Voices all tuned out and faded,
And all I hear is a humming silence,
Heartbeats paced slow and steady,
The rhythm matching the tides and waves,
As I let tidal peace wash over me,
I find there’s stillness in the beat.
As for my diary that lies forgotten,
Its pages strewn astray,
Words will be written sooner or later,
But for now, I’ll keep it away.

I’m slowly trying to get back to writing properly, so please bear with me for a while! I had completely forgotten all about writing for the day until, like, half an hour ago, so I just wrote something a little abstract about it. I hope you like it! Thank you for being here regardless. It means the world to me!

Yours truly,

The Shubhster. Xx
