Step by step, with every passing day,
You’ve inched closer.
You’re here now, a few more steps away
Do you feel the weight easing off your shoulder?
It’s what you’ve worked for.
Just a little more,
You’re almost there.
You’ve sailed past the raging seas,
Walked through the fire.
The days are now yours to seize,
You’ve become someone you admire.
Look back, but only at how far you’ve come,
At obstacles overcome—
You’re almost there.
Your journey has but begun,
You’ll have a million miles to go.
Walk, fly, run,
At your own pace, fast or slow;
You’re not the next person, they aren’t you,
Stay true to you,
You’re almost there.
All that you’ve ever wanted and more
Is just a little out of reach.
All that you’ve worked for
Learning all that the world had to teach.
You’re here, you’ve come so far.
Don’t you ever forget who you are.
You’ve done it. You’re almost there.
