Yet another letter I write to you,
Perhaps it keeps me sane
When thoughts of you keep me up,
Maybe it’s how I miss you less–
Words I would’ve told you in another life,
Sweet little nothings and verses for you,
How I wish you knew!
Every single letter says the same:
How much I love you,
In a new way, every single day.
The talks we could’ve had,
Things I could’ve told you.
Every day I miss you more;
The sun, moon and stars all know of you,
My not-so-secret Prince Charming,
My dreamy, sunlit fairytale,
My happy ‘once upon a dream’.
I’d steal all the time in the world
Away from prying eyes,
To somewhere that’s just for us.
If wanting you is selfish, I might as well,
Why keep that truth hidden?
Speak your heart out to me, love,
Tell me what’s on that beautiful mind,
Or I’ll have to pour my heart again,
Bare my soul, reveal my depths
In yet another letter to you.
