Slump.

Not really. I’m not going through a slump at all! In fact, I’ve had a very productive day, today! I’ve made three sketches back-to-back and I still don’t feel exhausted in the slightest. In fact, I have all these ideas for new sketches and I’m thinking about how I’m going to go through with all of them, but I feel like I’m surging with power today and that’s a welcome change, compared to the last few weeks, on and off. I know that when I’m done writing this, I’ll go back to sketching the next ones like I planned to. It just feels so good to be out of that slump that comes from having no inspiration for a long time.

How did I get out of this slump? I didn’t, really. I let myself wallow in it for a long, long time because I knew I’d break out of it eventually. It’s just one of those things that keeps happening a lot these days because there isn’t really too much to do except look for new ways to keep ourselves entertained while we all try and stay alive and healthy. I had been so busy sketching today, I completely forgot that I had to write as well. So, of course, I’ve got nothing prepared for the day.

So I’m just going to leave the sketches I made today, up here, for everyone to see. I’m pretty proud of how they turned out. It looked like an easy thing to make, initially. But because I am still very new to this, it took me a lot of time and effort to come up with these. Also, keeping in mind that it’s my first time ever trying my hand at something like this, I’d say I did a good job:

I realize that I’ve been taking writing a little less seriously these days, but it’s probably only because I’ve been at it for so long. I like that I’m taking some time away from writing about the more important things for now, but I’m sure I’ll get back to it very soon!

Hope you’ve all been having a great start to the week!

Cheerio! Xx
