That’s the beauty of love, isn’t it? It can’t mean the same thing to everybody. So before I continue, I want you guys to scroll all the way down and comment the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the word ‘love’. I would like nothing more than to read all of your different definitions about it!
‘Love’ has always meant different things to me. At 13, I thought the only kind of love that was real was the kind that you read about in books. At 16, I thought that the only kind of love that was possible was romantic, reckless love. At 18, I was heartbroken and I associated love to pain, but I was also quickly learning that platonic love was possible. At 19, after the end of my bratty-teen stage, I understood how important my family is.
And now, at 21, I am happily in love, not just with my boyfriend, but with the people I choose to cherish in life. Because at 21, I define ‘love’ as something that embraces you like a warm blanket. Love is what encourages you to be your truest self, motivates you to be your best self and supports you in everything you want to be. Love goes both ways; so everything that you give to the world, you get back.
I’ve also understood that sometimes, we humans mistake a lot of empty promises for love and end up hurting for a very long time. Love is letting people see what lies behind the walls you put up all around you. It isn’t perfect; it’s a constant process of learning and unlearning.
I’m sure that my definition of ‘love’ will change as I grow, maybe my definition will someday expand to a few more names as I meet more people I choose to let my walls down for. And so will yours.
Think about it. Somewhere over 7 billion people in the world, somewhere over 7 billion definitions of love. What does it mean to you?

Love is beautiful feeling , no word can describe love fully, & no one can understand fully, everyone thinks they have understood, but in reality, there are un explore area still left. It’s better we should live in the state of love, from childhood to old age till death, diff meaning, at diff stages.
But one thing for sure, to be happy, don’t expect anything out of this, u will be more happy.
