There’s a handful of things that I realized yesterday.
One, I am pretty good at completing 5 days’ worth of work within 12 hours. And then complete some more work after, while I still take time out for myself. Very cool of me, honestly.
Two, I can always count on my best friends to have my back when I need it the most. (It’s not exactly something I realized, but a reminder every now and then is nice!)
Three, I am a lot better at the things I do than I give myself credit for. I think it just gets lost in the whole process of never being able to think that my work is good enough.
Four, I realized that bringing about a little bit of change to the blog can be a brilliant idea. I let my best friend be a guest writer on my blog yesterday (because I was busy completing tons of work in under 12 hours), and I’ve come to realize that I should be doing this more often.
So, will there be more guest writers on my blog in the near future? Of course. Why not! I’m always glad to let talented writers share my space and I am really looking forward to it. You’ll see a lot of wonderful people share their work here in the next month, and if all goes well, I’ll make it a monthly thing, too!
A couple of days ago, I wrote about how I was getting a little exhausted from the same old boring routine that I had been thrown into. But these past few days have been all about trying to break out of that routine for me and I realize that I honestly missed change. And now that I am slowly breaking out of that routine, I feel a lot more clear-headed than I have felt in weeks!
To everybody who is getting tired of the routine, if you can’t find something new to do, try to at least take a break of switch things up a little bit because I know how tiring it can get. And as far as I know, all of us could use a little break from the routine right now. Things might suck, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to make things a little more bearable for ourselves for a while.
Hope you’re all having a great weekend!
